TechLearn 2001 Learning Object Trick-or-Treat

It's as easy as 1..2..3.. (and 4...5...6)

1 Create your Learning Content using your favorite Macromedia product.

• Authorware
• Dreamweaver or Dreamweaver UltraDev
• Flash 5

2 "Wrap" your content as an ADL SCORM compatible learning object (shareable content object or "SCO") by using:

• the Dreamweaver extension SCORM RTI Wrapper [info]
• the Flash 5 extension Flash SCORM RTI [info]
• the Flash 5 extension fs SCORM [info]

3 Create meta-data for IEEE LOM, IMS Content Meta-data, and ADL SCORM using:

• Authorware 6 SCO Metadata Editor command

4 Create a content packaging manifest compatible with IMS Content Packaging and ADL SCORM using

• the Dreamweaver extension Manifest Maker [info]

5 Use a ZIP utility to combine your manifest, meta-data, and content into one zip archive.

6 Publish to your favorite LMS.
