Expanation on how to use this section
1. You can use the "Select application by name" feature to retrieve one specific
application by its name. When you select an application two things will happen.
First the application name will be listed in to name slot at the top of the column
and second the checkboxes corresponding to the features of that application will
be automatically checked.
2. After one or more features are checked then if you click the "submit" button
the most popular (up to 10) of the applications with those same features will be
listed in the name slots of the column below. Next to the submit button is a
text box that displays the number of reviewed applications that have those
checked features.
3. Once one or more applications are listed in the text boxes you can click on the
radio button to the left of the application name to view the notes for that
application. When you click two of the radio buttons to the right of the text
boxes you can view a side by side comparison of the application notes for the
two corresponding applications by then clicking the "Click here" button at the
bottom of the column of text boxes.
4. In the section below you can retrieve the names of applications based on
specific features/tools that are supported by the application. When you click
one or more of the checkboxes under Learner or Support Tools and then click
Submit, a list of applications that support that feature will appear in the text
boxes on the right side of the screen.
Remember to click on the Reset button before starting a new selection. This
clears all the checkbox selections. An online glossary of feature terms is
accessible by clicking on any of the feature terms.
